Congratulations!From here on out it'll be learning more things like when to press(iron), how to hem, how to finish seams, how to sew curves, easing, gathering, buttonholes, lining, using interfacing, altering patterns, drafting patterns, draping, and so on. Some of my favorite tools I learned about in school were quilters rulers(big clear gridded rulers), fabric marking pens(I buy the type that erase with water), and loop turners. It's a whole new set of tools, just usually smaller ones. But then there are industrial sewing machines and sergers.
P.S. Oh lordy I love that costume! I'm trying to figure out where I could wear it to and what I could do to not make myself feel horribly self-conscious in it.
