Took a break from this weekend's cosplay marathon, went to go see "Little Miss Sunshine." It had Steve Carrell in it, which was my main reason for picking it.
It was a really good movie. A happy, sad, family movie. I'd recommend it to just about anyone, except those who might participate in beauty contests.
Me, along with most of the audience, was smiling as we left the theater. Normally, the movie's . . . afterglow disappears by the time I get to the parking lot. But not this time. It was a really sweet movie. Especially the scene where Olive starts getting teary-eyed in the hotel, that lil actress did a great job. And then once I got in the truck, popped in some Pizzicato Five, and I just kept smiling the whole way home. I think I'll be smiling all day.
