Plan C . . . ready
Dec. 29th, 2006 01:46 pmMy little apartment crisis is over. Well not over, just postponed. I'm embarrassed how simple the solution turned out to be, so . . . new subject!
Once I didn't have to worry about the apartment anymore, I could shift back into cosplay gear again! Weee! First thing I did was go to Regal Plastics and pick up some material for the commission. A very easy prop to make; it's a welcome break from the uber-complex Nekobus.
I was so pleased to have a roof over my head again that it barely irritated me when my boss called today to say I'd be spending next weekend in San Antonio, taking 2 12-hour training courses for a device we use. (The dumb thing is, it took a guy ten minutes to train me how to use it. I can't comprehend how it'll take 24 hours of classroom time to teach me the same stuff.) I won't even get out of class until 7 pm, and ACDF bowling starts at 4 pm, so that means no bowling for me next weekend. And I won't be able to help Ever with her Trinity Blood cosplay like scheduled. *shrug* Oh well. Work pays the bills, so it calls the shots.
