Jul. 20th, 2007 05:25 pm1000: The weekend’s here. Hmm, let’s see. What will I be doing?
Well Saturday morning I’ll be going to see Paprika while Star is doing her all-day cosplay sewing marathon. After the movie I think I’ll get back to cosplay. All this rain may have exempted me from working this weekend (which is good), but the high humidity will make it tougher to work with fiberglass. Heh. I started on the Spartan shield last night, with resin that I’ve had since . . . 2005 at least. About half of it had solidified in the can. Guess I’ve gotta go buy more; too bad the price of it has gone up 40% since then, and plaster's almost doubled in price! Boo! I think I want to do another head cast before I start on the helmet. But that’ll have to wait till I have an assistant. If the fiberglassing doesn’t work out, I can start fiddling with the cape or work on Slade, even. I do need to get cosplay stuff done this weekend and Saturday’s a good opportunity. Oh, and pay my bills. Can’t forget. It’s a good thing I decided not to go to D*C. Otherwise I wouldn’t have any money to work on cosplay.
1530: I want to buy some new video games. Well, new to me, but probably old to any gamer worth their salt. Okami, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Spore (if it’s out yet), Odin's Sphere, Disgaea 2, and others. The only problem is, I have no time to play games! Agh. Poop. Maybe I’m getting too old for games. Maybe this is life’s way of saying, "That’s it, you’re done with video games. How about you do something more fitting for someone your age, like shopping for window treatments?" Blah.
