It's an Ike day!

Things are gonna be weird today, that much is for sure.
Our main office in Houston is closed for the day and they're shutting down the power there to the entire office. Since that's our "hub," my office won't have internet, email, and some people won't even have phones. I dunno how we're supposed to get any work done with no internet or email; that means I have to get up and track people down to talk to them. I think we should take the day off too, or at least a half day.
As for the hurricane prep, I think it's going a bit over the top. I'd invite fleeing (cosplay) Houstonians to crash at my place for the weekend (I certainly don't stay there anymore), but my brother is already going to be staying the night tonight. He's in the Valley right now picking up his wedding present, a new (to him) car and he's driving it back to Denton today and tomorrow. He'll be driving into whatever's left of Ike in the morning. I don't know if that's wise.
So yeah, I don't know what's going on.
