A month of fandom

azriel_oda for this. I'd been wanting to do this 'meme' for awhile, but I thought I'd have to wait till I was back home and had access to my manga. Then I realized that there were online scans. Derp derp.
So anyways, here's my 30 Days of Gunnm meme. I've changed some questions that are either non-sensical or just plain uninteresting to me. I like to hope that maybe, just maybe, this quiz will elicit enough curiosity for someone to pick up a volume and read what I think is one of the damn finest mangas out there.
1. Your Favorite Character
SECHS! (I bet you thought I’d say Alita, the main character. Nope!)
Sechs (or AR-6, as he was originally known) came from humble beginnings, one of many mass-produced clones of a powerful warrior. Unlike the other clones he’s got a burning drive to prove his own self-worth and justify his existence. He enters the story as nothing more than a war machine, a very powerful adversary. For him, everything relates to combat, anything else is pointless and incomprehensible to him.
But life is more than just combat and it’s been interesting to see this hard-headed character, who is so proficient at war, slowly and clumsily begin to learn how to be a human. His persona is truly forming out of nothingness and it’s always funny to see how much difficulty he has with even the simplest human concepts. I don’t know if his role in Gunnm will ever amount to much, but I’m rooting for him all the way.
(Thinking is not his strong suit.)
