astillarAgh. Tonight's the last chance I have to get all this stuff done. I suppose I can "finish" my costumes, but I won't win any points for quality. Eh, whatever. AnimeFest is only about 5000 people big, so it doesn't really matter I guess. It's just that all of my costumes are expected to make an appearance. People wanna see my GIR, and he's kinda scheduled for the masquerade, Pyramid Head's going to a gathering, and my Sechs will be meeting that awesome Gunnm cosplayer. *sigh* I need to start making costumes that aren't so high maintenance.
I was gonna give a guy a ride from Austin to Dallas, but I kinda had to back out of that one since I'm not sure if I'll really be leaving tommorrow night. If I don't get enough done today, it'll be an all-nighter on Friday. I hope not; all-nighters always leave me drained for the rest of the weekend.
Other than that, today at work was really slow. Probably because I had AnimeFest on the brain all day; tommorrow will probably be worse. On a whim, I brought along volumes 4 & 5 of Genshiken. Man, that was some fun manga. It's finally moved beyond the anime and they introduced a new character that I really like. I wish Genshiken lent itself to cosplay, but it simply doesn't. I'd like to show my support for the series by cosplaying, but even Kujibiki Unbalance is a girls-only cosplay. Oh well.
Paintbrush hair is my favorite!
